The Krone was mentioned for the first time in 1489 as a guesthouse, later it was the most famous guesthouse at the Hochrhein. World-famous guests such as Goethe, Tsar Alexander, General Dufour and Michel de Montaigne rested in this place. In 2009 we acquired the real property Kronenhof and Treu and in 2011 we have taken over the executive management. We look forward to welcoming you in the heart of the old town of Schaffhausen!

CITY SPA KRONENHOF
2012 we opened our new City Spa. It offers modern, clear cubes, an elegant atmosphere, with facilities of a modern spa area. This includes sanarium, Finnish sauna, aroma steam bath, Kneipp showers with cold water pool, fresh air outdoors, massage, dressing rooms and a relaxation room. For our hotel guests is the entrance free.
