Central in the heart of the old town
Arrival
The Kronenhof is located directly in the pedestrian zone of the picturesque old town of Schaffhausen. Numerous shops, cinemas, restaurants and bars are in the immediate vicinity. The Rhine Falls can be reached on foot in 40 minutes or by car in 10 minutes. Our reception team will be happy to give you tips to enrich your stay with many impressions.
Railway
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station. Schaffhausen is connected to Zurich every half hour. Furthermore, there are direct connections to all important cities such as: Winterthur, Basel, Stuttgart, etc.
Car
Follow the yellow KRONENHOF signs. There is a public car park directly in front of the hotel. There is a charge from 8:00 to 18:00. On Saturdays from 16:00 and Sundays parking is free of charge. During the week you have the possibility to buy parking tickets at the reception. This allows you to leave your car parked from 18:00 until 11:00 the following day.
Bicycle
You will find us in the heart of the old town, directly behind the large St. Johann church. We will be happy to show you our free bicycle garage on site.
